Minibeast hunt and hotel
In eco club we created a palace for our mini beasts, full of different natural materials, to provide hidey-holes for creatures galore!
Minibeasts are very relaxed tenants and will find the places that appeal to them as long as there are lots of nice nooks and crannies to explore. To make our palace we started with a base of pallets and used logs, tiles, pots, logs etc to make our palace extra special and different.
Did you know that your average UK woodlouse might be around 1 cm in length - but in the tropics you might find one which is three times as big, if not bigger!
