Recycled christmas decorations

This week we had a visit from the Education Officer at the Millennium Court Arts Centre (MCAC) based in Portadown. This Christmas MCAC will be hosting an exhibition entitled MANMADE which explores the devastating long term effect that plastic is having on our planets and precious oceans. As part of the exhibition the eco club and council got the opportunity to take part in an art workshop which allowed them to reinvent the simple discarded plastic bottle into a delightful contemporary decoration. Our lovely Christmas decorations will be displayed in the foyer of the Millennium Courts Arts Centre for their MANMADE fantastic plastic Christmas tree from Friday 16 November as part of the Twillight Market celebration in Portadown.
